The invention of the system began 15 years ago. The conception of the software was made with cooperation and consulting from the engineers, head of music and software developers from different big Bulgarian radiostations. The final idea was to create the complex broadcast solution. At this moment the software exist in final version and becomes actual updates every month. The Idea. It was necessary to create a whole broadcast solution, software that cover the latest from the broadcast innovations. As a concept this is an integrated system which include the following modules:

In this module the customer can create and manage the entire program material. What is important: the customers become empty database definition so: every customer can create own definitions of the program segments and actually create own or already existing broadcast format. In database there are some basic positions: -THE AUDIOCARDS full and detailed description of each song or program material. The audio cards keeps basic information for the Albums, Singers, Song Names, Duration, Intro to Vocal time, Outro time, Actual Start and End time, Begin and End dynamic definitions. In the Sound Card the customer can assign each program material to predefined category and give also predefined parameters(characteristics) -DYNAMICS DEFINITIONS - this part of definitions is important for the broadcast module to make correct mixdown between different program materials. There are 6 predefined types of the beginning and end the material described in each sound card. The information will be used from dynamic mix down section by creating the playlist. -CLOCKS - The customer can define and create different clocks - one-hour definitions of the program based on basic definitions. -DEFINITIONS and CHARACTERISIICS - this is the basic information, needed for the rotation and scheduling the program material. The customer becomes free database, so the definitions are also free to create. The generation of the playlists is made on the base of these parameters. When the customer create a more detailed program parameter definitions, he will become more accurate program playlist at the end.
This is a stand-alone module needed for broadcasting of the already created program material - playlists. The module is simplified by the internal functions. There are two main modes of broadcast - automatic and manual. There are also user defined additional audio banks with hot keys, so the user can send additional program material. It is important to say that the user has not many options to change the program material. There is also PFL option for the additional broadcast information direct from database.
The user can keep and arrange full information for the advertising process in the radiostation. There are, like in the selector module, free to define information fields. The main idea is from one side to generate customer information database related to advertising clips, and from other side to give full statistic information (financial too) for each segment or action from the advertising module. It is important to say that the module can assign real values (prices) to the different predefined parts so there is possible to create in real time an offer for example. MIXDOWN ENGINE The mix down engine is a part of SELECTOR MODULE. Here the user can define the real mixdown between the program segments, based on the dynamic information, given in the soundcards. There is possibility to listen the mixdown and correct parameters with visual and exact values help. STATISTICS The software give the user possibility to create different statistics, based on real time broadcasting or static data. There are different kind of Logs, so the can be used for internal statistic, financial statistic, or for the major companies (for paying broadcast fees for example). HARDWARE The system is developed on the base of PC. There is no restrictions for the OS, but we recommend using Windows2000. The main server must have enough disk space, regarding the number of .songs.. The format of the songs is mp3-wav with possibility to record in different bitrates. The computer network - LAN must be configured in 100mbps speed. We recommend using high-quality PC Audio cards. There is also options to integrate external plug-ins for optimizing the sound quality, but this option depends of the quality of the broadcast module configurations. COMPATIBILITY The compatibility of the system with other software or financial modules is custom exclusive.
The three modules are configured to work in computer network. It is important to say that the single modules using same database, so the customer can work in a computer network or the whole solution can be installed on a single server. Short description of the modules.
